More Info
Format/Course: 4-Man, 3-Best Score Chicago Quota | Greenback Entry Fees: $40 per team; pay in cash after round. Chicago Quota Scoring: Each golfer begins play with negative points based on their course handicap. The object is for golfers to earn points to try to best meet or exceed their quota to get into postive points. The course quota for both courses will be set to 36. So for example, a golfer with a 3 course handicap would start with a quota of -33, while a 12 course handicap would start with a quota of -24. The 3 handicapper must earn 33 points to break even, whereas the 12 handicapper only needs 24 points. Points are awarded for gross scores as follows: Bogey – 1 | Par – 2 | Birdie – 4 | Eagle – 8 | Double-Eagle – 12. Each team will take the best 3 18-hole scores from the foursome to combine as the team's final score. Tees: By default, play will be from the White Tees. Handicaps: Because each player's quota is already net-based, there are no handicap/net strokes to be allocated. Prizes: At least a minimum of 30% of the field will receive prizes.
